About Me

Who I am is but a fleeting thought, a few words thrown together, barely scraping the surface. I am me, and that is all. Nothing more than what I am, nothing less than what I want. I live, I love, I learn.

Never stop questioning, never stop thinking. Accept nothing. Everything can be broken down, everything can be criticised. It is through this deconstruction that the future emerges, and true genius is born.

Stand up, stand out, make some noise, make a difference. That is the way to survive. That is the way to live. To fit in is to fall behind, to be normal is to be no-one and nothing.

Life is a gift, a precious chance. Do not waste it, and do not let it bring you down.

There are things I think, there are things I do, there are things I say. These are not me. There are things I believe, things I wish, places I belong. These are me only for the briefest moment. Nothing is constant, nothing stays the same. To ask me who I am is to ask the shape of water.

Is that saying: “never stop questioning” something I said once? Maybe, haha. But thought only goes so far in the deconstruction and disaffection against things. You can think all day and night for years on end about the tyranny of a government for example, but defecting is something entirely different because it requires action. Hence this:

“MiƂosz observed that those who became dissidents [of oppressive regimes] were not necessarily those with the strongest minds, but rather those with the weakest stomachs; the mind can rationalize anything, he said, but the stomach can take only so much.”

Hmm. Also – that what you think and do and say aren’t you – might mean that those things are dishonest.

    Just a thought…
